Privacy policy
Last updated: June 2026
This policy explains what personal information Rabbit & Hare collects, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We have tried to keep it plain. If anything here isn't clear, email hello@rabbitandhare.com and we'll explain it properly.
Who we are
Rabbit & Hare Ltd is the data controller for the information covered by this policy. We are a creative studio registered in England, company number 07508771, VAT number GB117588588.
You can reach us at:

What we collect
We only collect what we need.
When you get in touch, whether by email, by phone, or through a form on this site, we collect the details you choose to give us. Usually that means your name, your email address or phone number, and whatever you tell us about your enquiry.
When you visit the site, our hosting platform records anonymous, aggregated usage data, such as page views and rough location at country level. This is not tied to your identity and we don't use it to track you around the web.
We don't buy in data, and we don't build profiles on people.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
We use the details you give us to reply to your enquiry, talk through a possible project, and stay in touch about work we're doing together. Our lawful basis for this is legitimate interests: responding to people who contact us and running the studio.
If we ever want to send you something you didn't ask for, such as a newsletter, we'll ask for your consent first, and you can withdraw it at any time.
We use anonymous site analytics to understand what's useful and improve the site. Because this data is anonymous, it doesn't identify you.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your information, and we don't share it for anyone else's marketing.
We do use a small number of trusted suppliers who process data on our behalf so the studio can function. These include our website hosting platform and our email and business tools. They act on our instructions and are bound to keep your information secure.
If the law requires us to disclose information, for example to a regulator or a court, we will.
Where your data is held
Some of our suppliers, including our hosting platform, may store or process data outside the UK. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the UK's international data transfer arrangements, to keep your information protected to UK standards.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and project information for as long as we're in contact and for a reasonable period afterwards, in case you come back to us or we need it for our records and accounts. When we no longer need it, we delete it.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
ask for a copy of the information we hold about you
ask us to correct anything that's wrong
ask us to delete it, where there's no good reason for us to keep it
object to or restrict how we use it
ask us to move it to another provider, where that applies
To exercise any of these, email hello@rabbitandhare.com. We'll respond within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk. We'd appreciate the chance to put things right first, so do tell us.
